Fusion Designs

With its roots planted firmly in the Amish community of Northern Indiana, Fusion Designs dining sets, dining chairs, and bar stools are constructed by Amish employees who typically commute to work with a horse and buggy or bicycle. Many still have farms they work as well. This is a way of life, and that life of simplicity and quality comes through in their furniture.

They operate with one power source: a diesel generator that produces electricity to power the hand tools and machinery. However, many steps in the creation process are done by hand, including handplaning. The hardwoods come from the neighboring areas such as Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan, and Ohio. Kiln drying, steaming, milling, assembly, final detailing, and sanding are completed by hand. The finishing process includes staining, sealing, and varnishing. Some finishes include paints, glazes, or multistep finishes. The artisanship of each piece reflects the craftsman who made it.

Each piece is built to order. This means you can specify sizes and product configuration on certain features so that your dining set, table, chairs, and bar stools flow seamlessly with your overall decor. In addition, the wood species and stain colors are interchangeable throughout their collections.
